Sales Advisor, Homes

Job Purpose

Selling of homes for sale by CHAP Group.


Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintaining detailed up to date knowledge of properties for sale by CHAP.
  • Maintaining detailed up to date knowledge of purchase plans offered by CHAP and external agencies.
  • Liaising with recommended Financial Advisors, maintaining current knowledge of mortgage market.
  • Handling and following up sales enquiries.
  • Arranging and undertaking show house viewings.
  • Negotiating home purchase deals.
  • Obtaining & reporting competitor sales and marketing information.
  • General sales offices administration, maintaining customer database
  • Post-handover customer care administration and management.
  • Provide cover for other Sales personnel.




  • Driving licence and own transport.
  • Standard Grade level 3 or above, or equivalent qualification in  English and a numeracy subject.



Essential Criteria

  • Previous sales/marketing experience within the residential property market.
  • Sales orientated person with previous sales & customer service experience.
  • Well presented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Solid IT skills – including a good working knowledge of Word/Outlook.
  • Previous administrative skills and experience.
  • Good player with a “can do” attitude.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of selling and marketing properties within a new build homes development.


Days & Hours of Work

Full and Part Time applicants are welcome.

Full time hours of work are 35 hours per week, normally 10.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. Thursday to Monday inclusive.  This  includes a daily half an hour paid break.

Part time applicants require to give details on what their availability would be (note that work would not be available on Tuesdays or Wednesdays).
