Civil Engineering Foremen/ Gangers/ Operatives

Due to a growing workload, CHAP Group are looking to recruit ambitious and self-motivated civil engineering personnel to work on their sites across the northeast of Scotland.

Civil Engineering Foremen/Gangers

  • Experience in/with concrete, drainage, earthworks & utilities.
  • Experience in team supervision is essential.
  • Driving Licence required.

Civil Engineering Operatives

  • Construction experience and CSCS card holders preferred.
  • Training will be provided where appropriate.
  • Transport provided from most areas.

Job Purpose

To carry out duties including kerbing, deep drainage, earthworks, concrete works, steel fixing, utilities and streetworks.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out general construction labouring duties on site
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Operating construction equipment
  • Ensuring the quality of own work
  • Ensuring site is kept safe and tidy at all times
  • Any other tasks/ duties that may be reasonably requested by management

Qualifications

  • Previous construction labouring/ supervision experience
  • CSCS card
