Project

Refurbishment at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen
New ENT and Audiology Outpatients Clinic

Works comprised the alterations and reconstruction works, mainly within the ground and first floor of the vacated wards 5 & 6 of the existing hospital wing to create 8 no. single audiology test rooms and 1 no. multi-purpose room, all fitted out with acoustic booths.

The audiology accommodation also includes a hearing aid-workshop, balance rehab and assessment room, together with an office, reception and patient waiting areas.

Areas of the unit were constructed to achieve a high level of sound deadening and sound proofing.

Additional car parking and external works were also carried out.

The hospital remained fully functional throughout the construction works.
