CHAP have carried out a number of refurbishment projects for educational and community based institutions within Aberdeen City Centre. These covered a varied workscope of roof upgrades, window replacements and classroom and other internal upgrades.

Most works were carried out whilst schools were in full operation. This required detailed planning and coordination with key facility stakeholders to programme the works with minimal disruption to normal school operations. Careful planning of materials deliveries, services alterations etc were key to maintaining progress. In some cases, out of hours working was used or critical works elements were undertaken during holiday periods.

CHAP have successfully developed solutions and approaches to working within these types of establishments and “live” building environments through early communication and dialogue with interested parties.

Projects within this programme continue throughout 2018.
